Pajama Day at School

The other day Mason had Pajama Day at school. At first he was really confused about the whole thing. He is very particular about what he wears to preschool and he has certain clothes that he has deemed school clothes. Which he did all on his own. So he will only wear certain outfits. Which at first was really hard when his school wardrobe consisted of one shirt that he considered his school shirt. He at first insisted on wearing that one shirt every Tues. and Thurs. to school . I am sure his teacher was feeling bad for the kid who only had one shirt to wear. So after doing laundry every couple days I gave up and bought a couple more shirts that he would consider school shirts. So you can guess how hard it was at first for us to explain that this one day he could wear his pajamas. After a lot of convincing and him telling me numerous times that we only wear pajamas at night. He finally agreed. And once he was on board about the whole thing he was really excited. It was so fun to see him get so excited about something so little. When he got home he said his favorite part of school is when all of the kids got into a line and then each one got to step out and show off their cool pajamas. He is so funny. So it turned out to be a good p.j. day at school.
