Happy Easter

We had such a great Easter. This year was a lot of fun. Mason was really excited and understood things a lot more this year. He had a Easter party at preschool and since then we have been practicing for about a week hiding eggs for each other and looking for them. So he could not wait for Easter. We woke up on Easter morning and the Easter bunny had left them their baskets and a few toys. He also left a note telling the kids he would come back and hide the eggs while we were at church. So when we came home the kids got to look for the eggs. They loved it. Mason was so excited he would just smile and laugh every time he found an egg. Kinley found about 5 or 6 eggs and then she just wanted to eat the candy out of all of them. She then saw some eggs on our tramp and once she got up there she just kept bouncing her eggs until one would split open and candy would go everywhere. She would then sit down eat the candy and start the whole process all over. She was so funny. But Mason was such a good brother and gave her some of the eggs that he found so that she could have more. Ever since then anytime one of his friends has come over he asks me if they can take a piece of his Easter candy home and then gives some to each of them. It is so cute that he would want to share with them. We then finished our Easter Sunday with Chris's famous BBQ Chicken and some other yummy food and then ended it with Chris's favorite banana cream pie. The weather was so nice we spent the rest of the evening hanging out outside. It was a great Easter at out house!!!!

I wish we had such nice weather. It was too cold to have an egg hunt outside here. I want some of that famous BBQ chicken. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
